How I Work With You
Coaching sessions are a confidential space in which busy people can take time out to reflect and do their own best thinking. I encourage clients to develop greater self-awareness, creativity and resourcefulness; to overcome limiting patterns of thought and behaviour; to play to their strengths; and to find fresh perspectives on challenging issues.

My role is to hold up the mirror, to help clients see the wood for the trees, to get quickly to the heart of an issue or challenge. Clients leave my sessions with much greater clarity around what they want or need to do. Feeling motivated, they are engaged and ready to take the next step.

What is Life Coaching?Life coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process that helps individuals clarify their goals, overcome obstacles, and take intentional steps toward meaningful change. It's not about giving advice—it's about helping you tap into your own insight, purpose, and momentum to move forward.
-
How is Life Coaching Different from Therapy?Therapy often focuses on healing past trauma, mental health challenges, or emotional pain. Life coaching, on the other hand, is future-oriented and action-based. It’s designed to help you set goals, gain clarity, and make progress in your personal, professional, or spiritual life. If I ever believe a therapist or counselor would better serve your needs, I will let you know and may even help you find the right support.
-
How Many Sessions Do You Recommend?I typically recommend an initial commitment of six weekly sessions. This gives us time to build momentum, create clarity, and start working through your goals or challenges with focus. After that, we’ll reassess and decide together what the next phase should look like—whether that means continuing, pausing, or adjusting the frequency.
-
What Does It Cost?I believe cost should never be a barrier to someone getting the support they need. I work with clients based on their circumstances and aim to create a coaching plan that is both valuable and accessible. There is no charge for our initial conversation—it’s a chance for us to talk, get to know each other, and see if coaching is the right next step for you.
-
Who Do You Work With?I coach a range of clients including professionals in transition, men navigating divorce or identity challenges, current and retired athletes, and people of faith seeking clarity and spiritual direction. My approach is rooted in purpose, perspective, and forward motion—no matter your background.
-
How Are Sessions Held? All sessions are held virtually via Zoom or Google Meet, giving you flexibility and privacy from wherever you are. Each session lasts about 45–60 minutes.
-
Is Coaching Confidential?Yes—our sessions are completely confidential. I take your privacy seriously and hold space with respect, trust, and professionalism.
-
What If I’m Not Sure Coaching Is Right for Me?That’s okay. This is why I offer a free, no-pressure introductory session. We’ll talk about where you are, what you’re hoping for, and whether coaching feels like a good fit. If it doesn’t, I’ll still point you in a helpful direction.
